Evolving Shape is a series of 4 unique pieces of cast bronze. The idea emerged as a project when starting modelling an abstract clay shape that has a sublte resemblence to a big elongated head resting on the base by its lower part and connected to a secction of a curved body shape.  This primary form has been the source in which a mould can be made. Once the mould is completed it opens a new path for experimentation and challenge. Firstly, it has been used  to have a replica of the initial shape and from there apply changes on the volume,  position, and even add elements to suggest and transmit different meanings. Each piece is attached to a flat bronze surface that mimics the round countours of the sculpture and complements the overall composition. The use of distintive coloured bronze patinas  for each creation enhaces the form and fixes it on something solid. That allows the sculpture to emerge with movement and character. These pieces are strong but at the same time vulnerable and exposed.
